There's a first time for everything!

We've taken the plunge and booked a concert up in the North!
From the age of 17 to around 30 Georgina played trumpet in the Andy Prior Big Band. We know some of you will remember this band, she toured the country with around 120 dates a year and had multiple TV appearances, it was truly an amazing time!

They also played for 6 month summer seasons at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom and always performed twice a year at The Lowther Pavillion in Lytham. It is remarkable that now some %&$ years on Georgina find herself  heavily involved with an orchestra that works for a week every year at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom. She will admit, sentimentality got the better of her, and she have booked the Lowther Pavillion in Lytham to perform our '100 Years of Big Bands' show featuring Matt Ford and local songstress Emma Holcroft on the 5th May 2026.

If you happen to be in the Lancashire area over the early May bank holiday, do book tickets to see us or make a trip to the North and a short break of it? There are some gorgeous hotels along the front, it really feels like stepping back in time! Lytham is a really pretty town; the theatre is on the promenade with lovely grounds, a cafe (very important for me!) and some parking. Tickets are going really quickly! We are excited to bring the LP sound, in concert, to the North-West for the very first time!
