New show debut!
For over 20 years Georgina has played in shows celebrating the music of the ‘Rat Pack’ - Sinatra, Dean and Sammy. There’s no doubt this was a golden era for arrangers, big bands and vocalists, but there were other singers around at the same time who had equally great hits under their belt or brassiere!! Artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Eydie Gorme, Keeley Smith, Judy Garland, Shirley Bassey and many more! So many great songs and arrangements that are not as well worn as the ‘Ratpack’ repertoire, still classic and well known, but fresh and exciting for both the musicians and the audience alike.
So when Georgina met Julia Sullivan and Nicola Emmanuelle, both amazing vocalists and great fun humans, she knew they had found the right ingredients to take on this project - ‘Luck Be A Lady!’
Very fittingly the premiere concert venue for this show is the former home of Cleo Laine - The Stables Theatre in Wavendon, Milton Keynes. Join us on Sunday June 21st at 8pm.
Expect songs such as; Sunnyside of the Street, Puttin' on The Ritz, At Last, Get Happy, He's a Tramp, I Know Why, Shiny Stockings, Is You Is Or Is You Ain't My Baby, This Is My Life.
