Widely regarded as Britain’s number one exponent of the Sam "Tricky" Nanton style of muted trombone playing, Chris’ solos are firm favourites with the band’s audiences. Chris’ playing CV includes appearances with Diana Ross, Natalie Cole, Petula Clark and Alison Moyet as well as on countless West End shows including Chicago, Gypsy and Crazy For You. Chris has also produced our last four albums. In the role of producer, his other credits include Marti Pellow, Claire Martin OBE and the hit TV show Luther.
