A little trip to the Big Smoke

Yes folks, London's calling! On Sunday 1st October we'll be making our annual matinee appearance at Cadogan Hall, just off Sloane Square. This is one of my absolute favourite venues; the size, acoustics, grand piano and aesthetics all go to make for a world-class concert hall and a favourite for audiences.

This will be one of the few outings for our new show, "Another...100 Years of Big Bands". It is, of course, the follow-up to our original 100 Years programme but with a completely new setlist. Matt Ford and Nicola Emmanuelle will be singing the songs of Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Michael Bublé, Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga. Instrumentals include Peanut Vendor, Li'l Darlin', Take The "A" Train, Memories of You and a specially commissioned medley of TV themes such as Naked Gun, Hawaii Five-O and The Simpsons.

We could do with your help on this one. We've always sold-out in previous years but sales are a bit slow this time. Whether we're clashing with a major sporting event or Cadogan has too many similar things in their season, we don't know. We do know though that none of us like empty seats and, frankly, if we don't sell some more tickets, this might be our last visit to this wonderful venue. If you're in two minds as to whether or not to come into town for this one, we promise you won't be sorry if you do make the trip. Tell all your friends too!

It's a 3.00pm show and the ticket link is here.
